I. Cycle Life

This refers to the ratio of the corresponding capacity obtained by charging and discharging the battery with a certain charging and discharging current. For example, the national standard for ordinary lithium batteries (cobalt, ternary, etc.): at room temperature of 25℃, after 400 cycles of charging and discharging at 0.2C, the remaining capacity is 80% or more of the initial capacity. Industry standards (industry requirements) are far greater than national standards, maintaining more than 80% of the initial capacity, and can reach 500, 800, 1000, 2000 or more. However, there is a type of battery that can reach 20,000 to 25,000 cycles rapidly.

Test data show that under the conditions of 6C charging, 6C discharging, and 100% DOD, the cycle life of a single lithium titanate LpTO battery exceeds 25,000 times, the remaining capacity exceeds 80%, and the gas generation phenomenon of the battery cell is not obvious, which does not affect its life; while the actual application of Chongqing fast-charging pure electric buses also shows that after the battery is assembled, the electrical performance is also excellent, which can ensure the daily commercial operation of pure electric buses.

Lithium titanate batteries are a new type of lithium-ion battery with super safety, ultra-high rate, and ultra-long cycle life.
